Well, there I was, playing the deep roads DLC for Inquisition. Go fight some darkspawn, the game says. It'll be fun, the game says. 5,000 ogres and arcane horrors and crazy dwarves with lyrium amour things bound to their skin or something later and I'm ready to scream.
I would suggest taking a balanced party, some of the enemies down there are really tough. -sword/shield warrior. -rogue; Sera (thousand cuts on the hardest stuff) -Mage; Solas or Dorian (Vivienne dies a lot because she thinks she's a warrior). -any other class but mage, 2 mages is a waste here. #2473369.

Option 2: DAI main quest up through the end of What Pride Had Wrought, Inquisitor drinks from the Well, then do the first half of Descent -- which is clearing the darkspawn nest and discovering the final elevator, then do JoH through What Yet Lingers, then jump back and finish Descent, then finish JoH, then finish the main quest, then Trespasser.
