Like all "Need for Speed"-games on PS2 this one also has delayed reaction on the controls and the PS2 hardware seems not able to keep this game running on high framerates. Especially the delay in steering is really drives me up the wall. Thats why I can't enjoy this otherwise well made game.
Specs: System: Windows 11. Gpu: GTX 1050 Ti. Ram: 15,8 GB. Drive: Hard Disk. Cpu: i7 8750H. PCSX2: 1.6.0. So The game speed is almost always running at 50% to 60%, while all the other games are 90% to 100%, the only moments where the game isn't slow is cutscenes and pause menu.Gamecube. The emulator is much more mature. In addition, GC games can run at 480p whilst 98% of PS2 game run at 480i and de-interlacing makes for a blurry mess. If you want to play a multiplatform game, the GC version on Dolphin will almost assuredly be the better option. Sachertorture.
